ABIGAIL - Intercourse and Lust CD
Abigail's debut release, released in 1996, highlights the manner in which Abigail infused its traditionalist Black/Thrash approach with eccentric embellishments. When NWN! was still in its infancy, YK Insulter reached out to Abigail to seek approval to commit this legendary album to vinyl. Abigail agreed and, in 2002, NWN! released the LP, which became one of the first and most highly regarded releases on the label. As Abigail's popularity has grown dramatically through the past decade, "Intercourse and Lust" has assumed the stature of a classic album. NWN! is honored to make available once again this masterpiece of Far East Black Metal on CD. (Nuclear War Now Records #10 CD)

ABIGAIL - The Lord of Satan CD
This release compiles Abigail's earliest works on one LP; included are their rare 7"s and split album with Funeral Winds. The latter release was never baptised on vinyl until now. You can hear the primal black metal sound that Abigail started out with which later mutated into a thrashing sleeze metal that is Abigal of today. (Nuclear War Now #188 CD)

ABIGAIL - Sweet Baby Metal Slut CD
Abigail have returned with their fourth album. Entitled "Sweet Baby Metal Slut," this album continues in the style Abigail began exploring on "Forever Street Metal Bitch" and further refined on "Ultimate Unholy Death." Playing a style that sounds like a syphilitic union of Bathory, G.G. Allin, and Destruction. (Nuclear War Now Records #130 CD)

ABIGAIL - Ultimate Unholy Death CD
Reissue of Abigail's 4th studio album from 2005 with slightly updated layout and color scheme. (Nuclear War Now Records #33 CD)

AKHKHARU - Celebratum CD
"Celebratum", the long-awaited debut CD release of former Dark Age Productions and Ishnigarrab Recordings artist AKHKHARU, comprises remixed, remastered, as well as exclusive newly reworked material sourced from the DAT masters of the AKHKHARU project's three scarce cassette releases, originally issued in 1995 and 1996. (Nuclear War Now Records/Silcharde Records #4)

ANATOMIA - Decaying in Obscurity CD
With its second album, "Decaying in Obscurity," Anatomia demonstrates that its loyalty to the craft of Death Metal supersedes all other drives of the music. But, as seasoned veterans of the underground, the members of Anatomia do not rely on the mere regurgitation of ideas. (Nuclear War Now Records #224 CD)

ANATOMIA - Decaying in Obscurity LPx2
With its second album, "Decaying in Obscurity," Anatomia demonstrates that its loyalty to the craft of Death Metal supersedes all other drives of the music. But, as seasoned veterans of the underground, the members of Anatomia do not rely on the mere regurgitation of ideas. (Nuclear War Now Records #224)

ANATOMIA - Shreds of Putrefaction 10"
From the ashes of the Japanese death metal godfathers Transgressor comes Anatomia. Anatomia takes several steps back while removing any progressive elements of Transgressor to opt for a stripped down doomy death metal style made famous by bands like Autopsy and Incantation. This 10" contains their debut demo plus an unreleased Repulsion cover played at Anatomia speed. (Nuclear War Now #118)

ANTEDILUVIAN - Logos LP
Where the first album "Through the Cervix of Hawaah" gaped with a menstrual, tidal flow, revealing the disgusting interior of the orificial void, "LOGOS" is an oppositional counterpart both in musical form and ideological conception. Nine pummeling tracks focus on attack, pulsing with hammering fecundity. Antagonistic and aggressive, the album depicts the force of primal creation turning on itself in a meditation on destruction and total death. Comes housed in gatefold jacket with A2 poster and 12 page art zine. (Nuclear War Now #239)

ANTEDILUVIAN - Through the Cervix of Hawaah LPx2 with Hardbound Book
Antediluvian continues to exploit the delicate permeability of the membrane containing the music defined as Death and Black Metal. The music on this album demonstrates tremendous reverence for tradition, while interjecting newly carved angles into the fabric of its sound, thereby enhancing the discordant interplay between instruments. As always, Antediluvian approaches releases with a holistic sensibility. The emerging superimposition of these elements is both profound and atrocious. This vinyl edition presents the lyrics and accompanying artwork in exquisite form, within a hardbound 20 page book-style LP jacket containing a three sided double LP with etched artwork on the fourth side. (Nuclear War Now #210)

ANTEDILUVIAN/ADVERSARIAL - split LP
This split LP is much more than merely two bands each taking up a side of a record. It reflects the arduous process of uniting and focusing two distinct forces into a single syncretic expression. Each band's approach to the musical and lyrical themes complements the other and the resulting visions are both wretched and luminous. (Nuclear War Now #223)

ARES KINGDOM - Incendiary LP/CD
Put simply, "Incendiary" represents yet another peak for AK - a profound accomplishment considering the depth of their magnificent 2006 LP, "Return to Dust." In fact, in terms of both composition and performance, it may now be convincingly argued that they are unequalled. (Nuclear War Now #133)

ARES KINGDOM - Incendiary pic disc LP (Die Hard Version)
Picture disc version with back patch. Put simply, "Incendiary" represents yet another peak for AK - a profound accomplishment considering the depth of their magnificent 2006 LP, "Return to Dust." In fact, in terms of both composition and performance, it may now be convincingly argued that they are unequalled. (Nuclear War Now #133.5)

ARES KINGDOM - Return to Dust CD
Releases from ARES KINGDOM are few and far between, but it's more or less a given fact that when they do bestow new material on us, it's going to be quality material. Th music is somewhat similar to what Mike Miller and Chuck Keller did in their ORDER FROM CHAOS days, but with a far better production, thrashier sound, and less VOIVOD influence. 8 tracks, over 42 minutes of crushing Infernal Thrashing Death Metal. (Nuclear War Now Records #46)

ARES KINGDOM - Return To Dust LP
This is the first full-length album from Ares Kingdom, an American band featuring members of Order From Chaos and Vulpecula. They play thrashy death/black metal. In terms of style, this band sounds a bit like Order From Chaos, but the songwriting here is even more epic and involved. The mix of aggressive and introspective moments reminds me of early Destroyer 666, as do the inspiring lyrics, but Ares Kingdom conjure up a different sort of atmosphere. Between the chaotic riffs and meticulous song structure, it's as if the band is constantly treading on the line between order and disorder. Ares Kingdom is the perfect blend of everything that makes metal so damn great, and this album is the pinnacle of their work so far. The heavy vinyl LP comes beautifully packaged in gatefold jacket with gold foil stamping on the logo and album title. Also included are full color A2 poster, and printed innersleeve. (Nuclear War Now #46)

ARES KINGDOM - Veneration CD
Veneration is not Ares Kigndom's third album, but a collection of cover songs from bands that formed Ares Kingdom's musical foundation. Historically cover songs have often been throwaway tracks for comps or split releases. The common result is generally little more than a failed attempt at mimicry. In the hands of veterans like Ares Kingdom, however, performing a cover song is not hollow reverence. Instead, it is a salute by one group of masters to their peers. Unlike other "tribute" albums, this compilation is successful as a whole because the songs are suitably chosen, and while Ares Kingdom demonstrate their fidelity to the original versions of these songs the recordings on "Veneration" nonetheless bear the band's unmistakable imprint. (Nuclear War Now Records #211 CD)

ARMOUR - Death Threat / No Heaven 7_
Over the last several years Finland's Armour, has proven to be among the few capable of producing genuinely satisfying classic Heavy Metal and Hard Rock. Drawing on influences ranging from NWOBHM (i.e. Di'Anno era-Iron Maiden, Holocaust, etc.) to early 80_s U.S. Hard Rock and Heavy Metal (i.e. early W.A.S.P. and early Mötley Crüe), Armour's music is every bit as inspired and primal as the sources of inspiration from which Armour derives its sound. (Nuclear War Now Records #218)

ARMOUR - Death Threat/No Heaven 7_ (Die Hard Version)
This is the limited die hard version with embroidered denim sleeve, woven patch, sticker and red vinyl.

ARMOUR - Sonichouse Tapes: American Invasion LP picture disc
At the time Armour originally released the "Sonichouse Tapes" demo, many approached the band with trepidation. Although Werwolf's myriad musical projects already covered diverse terrain, the thought of the man behind Satanic Warmaster playing in a band that draws its influences primarily from bands like W.A.S.P., Accept, and even Motley Crue was somewhat difficult to grasp. Once the recording was proliferated, however, it became apparent that this band was more than a novelty. (Nuclear War Now #92)

AXEMAN - Arrive LP
Axeman is the solo project of Volahn showing more of his crust roots of 80's style fusion of Amebix/G.I.S.M.mixed with 80's Brazilian/L.A. metal sound. For worshipers of Amebix/Slayer/Sepultura/G.I.S.M./Sarcofago. (Nuclear War Now/Darkest Heavy #1)

BESTIAL RAIDS - Prime Evil Damnation CD
Bestial Raids explore the revelatory nature of ritualistic violence and desecration; their music reflecting the ascension of higher consciousness through the worship of depravity. "Prime Evil Damnation" is nothing short of a masterpiece of Bestial Black Metal. Some four years in the making, this album reveals the depth of character inherent in the band's sound. "Prime Evil Damnation" ranks among the greatest triumphs in underground metal in recent years and proves that there are still powerful emanations to be channeled through this unholy medium called Black Metal. (Nuclear War Now #197 CD)

BLACK GOAT - Black Goat CD
Black Goat has been lurking in the shadows of San Francisco since the early 90's while only releasing one demo in 1998. Never getting the proper attention from the underground black metal scene, they still managed to stay together for over 10 years. Black Goat plays black metal with solid riffs reminiscent of the glory days of Bay Area thrash metal scene. The CD contains their only recording from 1997. (Nuclear War Now #23)

BLACK GOAT - Black Goat LP
Black Goat's self-titled album was originally released in 1998 as a CDR and later repressed on CD by Nuclear War Now!. Now the LP-version of this excellent San Fransisco-band is available through Lyderhorn Records and NWN productions. Black Goat plays traditional thrashy black metal and featured members with relations to such bands as Weakling and Lord Weird Slogh Feg. This high quality LP-pressing features brand new artwork by Ben West. (Nuclear War Now #23)

BLACK WITCHERY - Desecration of the Holy Kingdom CD
Repress of the infamous first, and arguably their best album, is finally out after years of being out of print. The import and power of their debut LP has not subsided at all. With the advent of all of the technology around us, change takes place with greater rapidity than ever before. Genres and subgenres of metal rise and fall in the duration of a single season. It requires tremendous insight and a genuine understanding of the music to create a truly timeless album under these conditions. This is a feat seldom accomplished now, however, "Desecration of the Holy Kingdom" undoubtedly is such an album. It is a sacrifice to the older Gods in order to summon all of their might and channel it to call forth an array of lost and demonic voices. Become possessed by these voices once again. (Nuclear War Now Records #8 CD)

BLASPHEMIC CRUELTY - Devil's Mayhem LP
At last comes the vinyl release of the highly anticipated debut entitled "Devil's Mayhem" by Blasphemic Cruelty. Consisting of Gene Palubicki (Angelcorpse, Apocalypse Command), Alex Blume (Ares Kingdom, Nepenthe) and Gina Ambrosio, Blasphemic Cruelty play blackened and sadistic Deathrash. (Nuclear War Now #147)

BLASPHEMOPHAGHER - The III Command of the Absolute Chaos LP/CD
Although it has been just one year since the release of "...For Chaos, Obscurity, and Desolation...," Blasphemophagher return with their third full-length album. Entitled "The III Command of the Absolute Chaos," this new album demonstrates the band's further refinement of their craft. Blasphemophagher's barbaric atomic terrorism assaults the listener. Massive and all consuming, Blasphemophagher's sonic universe evokes abhorrent mutations, radioactive haze, and the collapsed infrastructure of mankind's empire. Worship the apocalyptic inevitability. (Nuclear War Now Records #199)

BLASPHEMOPHAGHER - Nuclear Empire of Apocalypse picture disc LP
Following several head-splitting split recordings and demo, Italy's Blasphemophager have emerged to release their debut full length "Nuclear Empire of Apocalypse" on Nuclear War Now! Formed in 2002, Blasphemophager summons forth the unholy spirits of demented legends such as SARCOFAGO, IMPETIGO, ABHORER, BESTIAL WARLUST, BLACK WITCHERY and the mighty BLASPHEMY. Blasphemophager not only succeed in achieving the levels of sickness displayed by the aforementioned bands, but also add their own brand of nuclear fueled sickness. Prepare for the new atomic dark ages... (Nuclear War Now #110 PD)

BRAIN DEAD - From The Ecstatsy LP
Brain Dead from Malaysia released their first and only album, "From the Ecstasy" in 1992. NWN is proud to present this album, which was previously a cassette-only release, on vinyl. This album vividly illustrates this and will at last preserve Brain Dead's rightful place in the history of the Death Metal underground. (Nuclear War Now #122)

BRAIN DEAD - Live 1991 Demo LP
This Malaysian band's cruel rituals have been undeservedly neglected in many circles of the underground for nearly 20 years. However, the vinyl re-release of this demo will finally expose Brain Dead's misanthropic bestial Deathrash to the world again. (Nuclear War Now #114)

BUNKUR - Bludgeon CD
Originally planned to be released throught the notorious Selbstmord Services, this mammoth saw the pale light in 2004 throught the japanese label Deserted Factory. Recorded, mixed and mastered in three days by producer Pieter Kloos, in his The Void Studios in Eindhoven, Holland, it is the extended and enhanced version of the 2002 Bludgeon which caused a roar in the European (extreme) Doom scene... Bunkur played all the important doom fests prior or after the release. One mammoth 65 minute song of torturous ultra-doom!!! (Nuclear War Now #192 CD)

CAUCHEMAR - La Vierge Noire LP/CD
Feeding the Canadian metal flame, Cauchemar plays haunted doomy metal with French vocals and a heavy occult vibe. Their first release, "La vierge noire" MLP, includes 5 songs of ancient metal darkness. The warm, unpolished production and the eerie atmosphere will transport you to the darkest parts of antique cemeteries. Pounding rhythmic percussion, earthy guitar tones, mystical female vocals and intricate changes in textures in this record open a new passageway to the soul of pure metal. (Nuclear War Now #156)

Despite many fans' desire for new material following the release of the MLP, Cauchemar members Patry and Giroux chose to explore and absorb rather than record and transmit. Their one-and-a-half-year peregrination carried them to South America, Asia, and Europe. Upon returning to Canada, Cauchemar began recording its first full-length. Entitled "Tenebrario," the album is steeped in mysterious atmosphere and finds the band delivering more of the solid songwriting featured on the MLP while also expanding in complexity and range. Striving for an aesthetically comprehensive presentation, Cauchemar enlisted Paolo Girardi to provide the cover art, which is among the best of his pieces to be featured on an album cover. (Nuclear War Now #236 CD)

Die hard version with patch, sticker, and cloth sleeve. CITIZENS ARREST - Colossus: The Discography LPx2 (gatefold)
The original pressing of this release sold out in 2010. This new pressing is on blue vinyl. Citizens Arrest were a hardcore punk band that formed in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and existed from 1988-1990. They played a bunch of shows at legendary punk venues like CBGBs and ABC No Rio. Considered to be a seminal New York hardcore band by many, their short-lived reign exists within a demo, a 7" EP, some comp tracks, and a full-length album. Heavily influenced by S.O.A., Negative FX, and Siege, this record amalgamates gruff vocals with extremely raw, fast hardcore. This discography release contains pretty much everything they recorded including their 1989 demo, 7", compilation tracks, album, unreleased Red C cover with Daryl on vocals, and a live recording with Daryl on vocals. The 8" live flexi was left out due to its bad sound quality. (Nuclear War Now/Cell Records #7)

CONQUEROR - War.Cult.Supremacy CD
Reissue of one of the most devastating black metal recordings of all time. This compiles all of Conqueror atrocities into one package. Sixteen tracks of bestial black metal madness that only Canadians are able to create. Total noise devastation!! (Nuclear War Now #178)

CREMATION - Black Death Cult LP
Pre-Conqueror/Revenge Satanic death metal with J. Read on drums. Contains the Demos "Pire Gah Hoath Raclir Od Lalpor" 1993, "Hail The Rise of Med Pe Gal" 1994 and "The Flames of An Elite Age" 1995. Heavy vinyl with reverseboard printed jacket, A2 poster, and insert. (Nuclear War Now #134)

CULT OF DAATH - Doomed by the Witch Demo tape
Beginning with a foundation evoking the pioneers of early first wave black metal such as Bathory and hellhammer, CoD manage to incorporate the aggressive precision of early death metal such as Possessed, the hateful and malefic occult aura of early Mayhem and Darkthrone, and the victorious majesty of Greek black metal such as Varathron. The mention of these various names does little to convey the overall effect of CoD's music, however, as the summation of these influences produces, in CoD, a sound that cannot be readily compared to any other band. (Nuclear War Now #163)

DAMAAR - Triumph Through Spears of Sacrilege LP
While most bands fantasize about war and glorify violence they have never witnessed, Damaar hail from Lebanon where war perpetually looms. Furthermore, Damaar's devotion to metal can hardly be questioned. In order to protect themselves from retaliation by the government, they were forced to distribute their demo by mp3 rather than tape or CD. Thus in the face powerful religious zealots, Damaar persisted in pursuing its evil directives. After relocating to Australia, Damaar was able to finally send out a proper (non-mp3) master and collect artwork for the vinyl release of their demo on NWN! This assault is pure aural bestial blasphemy in the style of Black Witchery, Revenge and others. Conceptually, Damaar invoke anti-religious warfare towards all those weak and feeble-minded followers of all false gods and do so without fear of retribution. The band is currently inactive following its move to Australia and its future is uncertain. Nonetheless, this crushingly violent demo now preserved on vinyl will ensure that Damaar is ranked prominently among the bestial legions. (Nuclear War Now #81)

DAMNATION - Speed Anarchy LP
Damnation emerged in the mid-1980's Canadian Speed/Death Metal scene and released a series of demos between 1986 and 1992. The band occupied that unique space that developed during the time period in which Death Metal was just beginning to evolve out of the Thrash/Speed metal style. For reference points, one should look to the seminal early recordings of bands such as Slaughter, Death, and Necrophagia. The songs on these three demos are frenzied blasts of violence generally clocking in at less than two minutes in length and carry the inherent power of simplicity that characterizes so much of the classic Thrash and Hardcore recordings from the era. (Nuclear War now #154)

DEATHEVOKATION/GRAVEYARD - split 7"
GRAVEYARD Finally, after their acclaimed MCD "Into the Mausoleum" released back in 2008, Spanish Death Metal masters GRAVEYARD are back with brand new stuff!. Waiting for his debut full length, soon to be released, the Spaniards join the Nuclear War Now! Horde and release a Split vinyl together with the amazing German/American Death Metal combo DEATHEVOKATION. (Nuclear War Now #115)

DEATHRONER - Death to All LP
Propelled by the voracious void 'Death To All' is a time machine of an album that takes the brave listener to the very heart of nascent deathmetal inferno of 1987. Drawing their endemic understanding for subtle minimalism from loudly echoing wells of late Possessed's textured riffing, Massacre's manic vocalization, LA Majesty's contagious trance and early Slayer's ferocity, Deathroner are in the league of their own. Their debut is one of the albums that come to you in a dream making you think they have always existed, but they didn't. Until now. (Nuclear War Now Records #228)

DEMENTIA - Reticulation 7"
This EP represents a compilation of the complete recordings by the Canadian death metal band Dementia recorded between 1987 and 1988. The sound attained by Dementia is one that can only be captured through the unrestrained passion of youthful violence. (Nuclear War Now #129)

DEMONOMANCY - Rites of Barbaric Demons CD
Demonomancy hail from the occult depths of Rome and exist to desecrate and dismantle Italy's holy infrastructure. They play primitive Black Metal in the vein of Beherit, Archgoat, and Demoncy, but with a sensitivity to production and precision that is uncharacteristic of most bands that tread these paths. (Nuclear War Now #198 CD)

DEMONOMANCY - Throne of Demonic Proselytism CD
With this album, entitled "Throne of Demonic Proselytism," Demonomancy settles into its sound focusing on a style that draws upon the dark, mid-paced atmosphere of bands like Demoncy and Archgoat, but delivered with the cutting precision of the first Black Witchery album. This album is further distinguished from the band's previous efforts by the addition of exclusive artwork by Zbigniew M. Bielak with layout executed by TLLMN. (Nuclear War Now Records #243 CD)

DISFORTERROR - Impalement and Holocaust Stench 10"/CD
On their debut release for Nuclear War Now! Productions Brazilian horde Disforterror offers up a platter of bloody, vile and unmistakably violent death metal. Evoking legendary South American acts such as Expulser and early Krisiun, while never sounding "retro," Disforterror is the pure embodiment of complete aural decimation. The low end production of "Impalement and Holocaust Stench" perfectly compliments the terror contained in the songwriting, and will leave the uninitiated beaten and bruised. (Nuclear War Now #111)

DIMENTIANON - Collapse the Void LP
With their 2010 recording entitled "Collapse the Void," Dimentianon delivered their best work to date. Dimentianon inject their Black Metal with hints of prog and even include the song "Fragmented Nostalgia" which draws on sounds utilized by 1970's pioneers such as Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze. The result is an impeccably executed LP that is as complex, diverse, and conceptually rich as you will find in the current stream of underground metal releases. (Nuclear War Now #215)

(DAVE SLAVE'S) DOOMED AND DISGUSTING - Satan's Nightmare LP
Dave Slave, one of the underground's most unquestionably enigmatic and underappreciated figures, reemerges from a long torpor with the third full-length from his Doomed and Disgusting project called "Satan's Nightmare." Primarily focusing upon midpaced doom, this project reflects hints of Hellhammer, Goatlord, and Doom Snake Cult, but truly sounds like nothing else. (Nuclear War Now Records #263)

DOOMED AND DISGUSTING/SADISTIK EXEKUTION - split 7"
This split 7" contains Sadistik Exekution's monumental "Suspiral" demo - the second release by the band. Originally released in 1991, it is a raw exploration of the sonic territory to which Sadistik Exekution would lay claim with its debut album, "The Magus," that same year. With Doomed and Disgusting, Dave Slave primarily focuses on doom of the most unconventional variety as only Dave Slave could produce. The track included on this 7", entitled "Murder in the Dark," is more aggressive and manic than much of the previous Doomed and Disgusting output. (Nuclear War Now Records #256)

EMBRACE OF THORNS - For I See Death In Their Eyes... LP picture disc
Originally released as a cassette album in 2007, Embrace of Thorns' debut full length, "...For I See Death in Their Eyes..." reflected the culmination of a series of progressively more intense demos that the band released in the early-2000's. Long sold out from the original labels, NWN!, Iron Bonehead and Tales From The Crypt reissued the album on picture disc format. (Nuclear War Now Records #227)

EMBRACE OF THORNS - Atonement Ritual CD
Inspired by the real forces of demonic, morbid and obscure black/death metal EMBRACE OF THORNS create their own soundscapes of chaos and destruction. Bestial, desecrating, menacing and malicious. There is no room left for weak, soft melodies in their sound; ONLY fatal, asphyxiating blackness. (Nuclear War Now #121)

EMBRACE OF THORNS - Praying for Absolution CD
With each successive release, the band has come closer to achieving the apex of their particular darkness. With their new album, "Praying for Absolution," Embrace of Thorns draw ever closer to perfect ascension. Characterized by instantaneous transitions between harrowing Death Doom and frenzied Black/Death, "Praying for Absolution" evokes a sense of endless death and perpetual rebirth. (Nuclear War Now #205)

ENERGY VAMPIRES - s/t LPx2
In 1989 ENERGY VAMPIRES rose out of the ashes of the cult legendary US Metal band SLAUTER XSTROYES. The music is very much a continuation of legendary SLAUTER XSTROYES sound and even 2 songs from the SLAUTER days were re-recorded on this album. This was originally only released as a tape of 500 copies back in the early 90's. This is for fans of obscure US private press heavy metal. (Shadow Kingdom Records)

EVOKE - Forever Breeding Evil LP
A rare recording from this old UK death metal band. The 12" contains raw tracks of old school death metal. Limited to 250 copies on black vinyl. (Nuclear War Now #127)

EX INFERIIS - Ngul A Crist 7"
Mexico City's dirty streets spawn yet another new black thrash horde by the name Ex Inferiis. This is for those who long for the days when Nifelheim played real black metal. (Nuclear War Now #105)

FAUSTCOVEN - Hellfire and Funeral Bells CD
The release schedule of Norway's Faustcoven is as slow and deliberate as the band's "black doom" music. It has been nearly four years since the last Faustcoven album, but with this new record, "Hellfire and Funeral Bells," Faustcoven demonstrate the virtues of a band taking time with its craft. (Nuclear War Now #124 CD)

FAUSTCOVEN - Hellfire And Funeral Bells LP
On "Hellfire and Funeral Bells," Faustcoven's third album, they demonstrate the virtues of a band taking time with its craft. This album, like all of Faustcoven's work, is steeped in a classic doom sound, but exhibits a recognition and infusion of more modern and extreme forms of metal as well. This new album is very likely the most succcessful effort Faustcoven has yet put forth. (Nuclear War Now #214)

FUNERARY CALL - Damnation's Journey LP
Obsessive dark atmosphere that ventures far beyond the boundaries of conventional Black Metal, funerary call captures the blasphemy and depravity of the Black Mass in audible form. Originally conceived in 1995, the cult recording known as "Damnation's Journey" is now resurrected on limited edition vinyl. Featuring drums and additional vocal incantations by J. Read (conqueror, revenge). A truly dark and unique landmark in the ross bay cult history! (Nuclear War Now #159)

FUNERARY PIT - Winds of Hell 7"
Australia has recently been producing some of the best underground metal that has been heard in years and Funerary Pit is no exception. Featuring members of Gospel of the Horns, Destruktor, and Damaged, Funerary Pit play merciless death metal with a slight nod to old thrash and black metal. Their brutal "Winds of Hell" demo was too unholy not to be committed to vinyl. Thus Nuclear War Now! and Dissident Records have united to ensure that this release sees the dark of night. This debut EP by Funerary Pit is certain to be regarded as a classic of this era of Australian metal. (Nuclear War Now #77)

GLORIA DIABOLI - Libation Unto He Who Dwelleth in the Depth 10_
Here are the 5 tracks originally released as GATE TO SHEOL. These are the actual pre-production tracks recorded on a 4 track machine which are a much better representation of these 5 tracks. This is how it was supposed to sound much faster and more violent. (Nuclear War Now Records #225)

GRAVE UPHEAVAL - s/t CD
Grave Upheaval revel less in technicality and more in the cavernous darkness of impenetrable walls of repetitious and discordant guitars. The accentuation of ambience rather than technique is Grave Upheaval's greatest strength and makes the music immediately arresting to the listener without the need to engage in repeat listens before it even begins to set in. (Nuclear War Now Records #242 CD)

GRAVE UPHEAVAL - s/t LPx2
Grave Upheaval revel less in technicality and more in the cavernous darkness of impenetrable walls of repetitious and discordant guitars. The accentuation of ambience rather than technique is Grave Upheaval's greatest strength and makes the music immediately arresting to the listener without the need to engage in repeat listens before it even begins to set in. The standard version of the release contains three LP sides of music and is encased in a gatefold jacket featuring an 8-page 12" x 12" booklet adhered to the right gatefold panel. (Nuclear War Now Records #242)

GRAVE UPHEAVAL/MANTICORE - split LP
Grave Upheaval shares members with Portal and Impetuous Ritual which gives the band a familial similarity to those projects; however, Grave Upheaval offers something decidedly unique at the same time. With just two tracks, Grave Upheaval cover expansive territory and demonstrate the band's dynamic textural and temporal capabilities. On Manticore's side the listener will find the traditional Black/Death that one would expect from these stalwarts of the U.S. scene. (Nuclear War Now #220)

HADEZ - Guerreros de la Muerte LPx3 box set
Hadez has long represented the darkest emanations from the land of Peru. Most well-known for the exceptional "Aquelarre" LP released in 1993, considered by many to be among the most triumphant statements from the South American Black/Death scene, that album served as a the promise of the band's series of demos that the band self-released between 1988 and 1992. Those demos are the subject of this Nuclear War Now! boxset which charts Hadez' development from elementary stylings of the band's three-song introductory demo to the sharpened focus of the debut LP. Indeed, the influence of Brazilian bands such as Sarcofago is immediately apparent in all of the Hadez demo recordings. Unrefined and unhinged, Hadez evinces the crude passionate approach that is emblematic of the early South American Black/Death style. This boxset includes 3 x black vinyl LPs, 44 page zine booklet, and case wrapped two piece box. (Nuclear War Now Records #187)

HARUSPEX #1 magazine + ANTEDILUVIAN - s/t 7"
This zine, written by Jason Campbell and visually augmented by the art and layout of Tim Grieco, was originally intended for release in support of NWN! Fest III. This first installment focuses on bands related to NWN!: Ares Kingdom, Sabbat, Conqueror, Martire, Rotting Christ (Interviews with Sakis Tolis, Jim Mutilator, and Magus Vampyr Daoloth), Pseudogod, Anatomia, Bone Awl (Interview featuring HWCT and HWGT), Bestial Raids, Faustcoven, And an artists' discussion featuring Denis Forkas, Tim Grieco, Marko Marov, and Manuel Tinnemans. This first issue will also come with a new 7" by Antediluvian. Recorded at the same time as "LOGOS," this EP features two unreleased songs. (Nuclear War Now #240)

HARVEST GULGALTHA - I LP
Harvest Gulgaltha emerged in 2012 from the murky void of the United States Black/Death scene delivering an unassuming, yet mesmerizing demo that has since captured the attention of many due to its austere primitivism. The demo is itself a magnificent recording that deserves wider recognition and to that end, this vinyl version will ensure its continued proliferation. (Nuclear War Now Records #264)

HELLIAS - Night of Damnation LP
This LP contians Hellias's 1988 tape only EP and a great sounding live set from 1989. Their sound can be compared to other Polish thrash cults like KAT, Dragon, Wolf Spider, etc. The vocals are a bit more rough with a strong early Mille/Kreator style to it. Anyone remotely interested in Eastern European thrash should check this out. Includes a double sided poster insert. (Nuclear War Now #65)

HELLIAS - Revenge of Hellias LP
"Revenge of Hellias" is the demo that the Polish Evil Thrash maniacs Hellias recorded in 1988. Not to be confused with the Cassette EP released the same year, "Night of Damnation", which was reissued on vinyl last year by NWN!, this demo is nothing short of sinister thrash mastery. Vicious and wicked, Hellias do not play fun thrash made for crossover wimps. This is metal made to summon the darkness and annihilate the light. The riffs are fast, heavy, and played with precision and nothing is overly distorted or intentionally obscured. The vocals and lyrics are intensely evil approaching a sound reminiscent of the earliest Black Metal. The end result is a sound that sears the mind and rips the flesh. Hellias has been criminally overlooked for years and now NWN! is seeking to breathe new death into the air by completing the release of the two earliest recordings by this legendary band. Comes on black vinyl and includes pro-printed color poster and pro-printed zine style booklet. (Nuclear War Now Records #94)

IGNIVOMOUS - Blood and Mercury CD
This collection contains all of the tracks from the Path of Attrition Demo recording and the utterly flawless "Eroded Void of Salvation" EP as well as their track from the split 7? With Tzun Tzu. For those few who are unfamiliar with Ignivomous, their sound is a potent distillation of the most powerful Death Metal from the early to mid 1990's. The black blood of Immolation, Incantation, Grave, Demigod and others is commingled and burns furiously in the veins of Ignivomous. (Nuclear War Now Records #194 CD)

IGNIVOMOUS - Contragenesis CD
Rote mimicry was never the path chosen by Ignivomous on their previous releases and with their second album, "Contragenesis," the band pushes even further and still manages to expand the boundaries of Death Metal. The image that Ignivomous create is one of pure apocalyptic nihilism. A burned out world consumed by the void of its own collapsed spiritual infrastructure. (Nuclear War Now Records #213 CD)

IGNIVOMOUS - Death Transmutation LP/CD
(NOTE: the CD version comes in a 7" sleeve) After releasing one highly regarded demo and a nearly flawless E.P., Ignivomous at last have endeavored to present their first full album. "Death Transmutation" is the brilliant culmination of their work up to this point. On this album, Ignivomous truly embody the essence of the genre and "Death Transmutation" is the most complete proof of their worth in this regard. (Nuclear War Now #132)

IGNIVOMOUS - Death Transmutation picture disc LP
Picture disk edition of the death metal masterpiece. Comes with 12"x12" insert printed on thick stock. (Nuclear War Now #132.5)

IGNIVOMOUS/TZUN TZU - split 7"
Both bands featured on the split play a brand of death metal well known by now to NWN followers. They blend technical death metal riffs with crazy tremolo picking, brutal death metal shredding and blasting and a dark doom metal atmosphere. Musically, there isn't a big difference between the two bands, it's doomy death metal made the Australian way. If you're an Incantation fan, especially a fan of early Incantation, you definitely need to pick up this release! (Nuclear War Now #109)

ILL OMEN - Enthroning the Bonds of Abhorrence LPx2
Ill Omen is the solo project of the reclusive and mysterious Australian multi-instrumentalist and songwriter known as IV (also recognized for his work in bands such as Nazxul and Temple Nightside as well as a number of other solitary musical endeavors). The music here is predominantly mid-paced and expansive and laced with passages both heavily melancholic and misanthropic. The visionary art of Alex Brown was selected to impart the visual aesthetic accompaniment to this haunting masterpiece, and the result is magnificent. (Nuclear War Now Records #254)

IMPURITY - Bonfim Moritvri Mortivis LP
"Bonfim Moritvri Mortivis" is every bit as primitive and draped in evil as Impurity's earlier material although the band plays with a greater sense of control and purpose on these new recordings. Impurity continues to prove that they are among the very few bands (especially among their Brazilian peers) that have been able to maintain such a high level of quality over so long a period of time. (Nuclear War Now Records #202)

IRKALLIAN ORACLE - Grave Ekstasis CD
One of the releases that garnered the most attention in 2013 was Irkallian Oracle's "Grave Ekstasis" tape. Released on Kristian Olsson's obscure tape label, Bolvark. Due to the praise immediately heaped upon it, the "Grave Ekstasis" tape sold out rapidly. Thus, when NWN! approached the band about working together in the future, the logical first step was to release "Grave Ekstasis" on vinyl and cd for wider distribution as Irkallian Oracle prepares for it's next highly anticipated album. (Nuclear War Now Records #253 CD)

KATECHON - Man God Giant CD
Under scrutiny since the release of its demo last year, Norway's Katechon now presents its debut full-length recording. "Man, God, Giant" reinforces the sound presented on Katechon's previous recordings, but features superb production that amplifies the impact of the tracks. Katechon's sound is an amalgamation of Black, Death, and Thrash metal, but played with a precision and authenticity that avoids dilution. (Nuclear War Now Records #245 CD)

KERASPHORUS - Cloven Hooves at the Holocaust Dawn 10"
Being the new project of P. Helmkamp (Order From Chaos, Angelcorpse, Revenge), those familiar with his work will find familiar traces in the vocal and bass performance on this EP, but will also witness the unfolding of new dimensions within his work. Kerasphorus demonstrate a groundedness in their approach to Black Metal that is peculiar and engaging. (Nuclear War Now #142)

KERASPHORUS - Necronaut LP
Kerasphorus commanded our attention with its uniquely hostile and innovative approach displayed on the "Cloven Hooves at the Holocaust Dawn" EP released in March of last year. The disbandment of Kerasphorus in June of 2010 only ensured that the recorded output of the band would remain untainted. The "Necronaut" LP develops a richer dynamic approach while still retaining the same sound that defines Kerasphorus. Kerasphorus is a conglomeration of esoteric visions manifested through innovative compositions, Helmkamp's bizarre observations of reality and Devil Joe's viscous hypnotic rendition of the Necronaut. (Nuclear War Now Records #182)

KNELT ROTE - Insignificance CD
The music of Knelt Rote defies easy classification. The band is clearly heavily influenced by the darker elements of Death and Black Metal, the more vicious strains of Grindcore and Punk, and the brutal nihilism of Harsh Noise and Industrial Music. Consequently, the three tracks on the band's second album, "Insignificance," bare the markings of each of these sub-genres of extreme music. (Nuclear War Now Records #217 CD)

KNELT ROTE - Trespass CD
While the band's earliest work veered heavily into Grindcore, the band's style has broadened considerably over the past several releases as the band has fleshed out the composition of its tracks and added more elements of Death and Black metal into its body of work. Listening to the band's third full-length, "Trespass," it is clear that Knelt Rote executes these more nuanced strains of extreme metal with a rare sense of precision and focus. A composite whole that is more than the sum of its parts, "Trespass" is unique without sounding forced and more pertinent and forward-looking than much of the current underground metal output. (Nuclear War Now Records #233)

MARTIRE - Brutal Legions of the Apocalypse CD
Few debut albums conjure the sort of rabid anticipation that has developed around Martire's "Brutal Legions of the Apocalypse." This is a disorienting album in the best way possible. Martire routinely employ unconventional time signatures and constantly engage in dizzying start/stop exercises. For many, primitive bestiality and technical virtuosity represent the opposite ends of a spectrum. Martire, however, reconcile these two extremes to tremendous effect. (Nuclear War Now Records #219 CD)

MARTIRE - Brutal Legions of the Apocalypse LP
Although recorded years ago, this album sounds every bit as unique as fans of Martire would expect. Indeed, listening to this record now it sounds as if, by delaying this release for so many years, Martire were simply giving the rest of the scene a chance to catch up. Considering the strength of Martire's catalog, it must have been daunting for the band to take up the task of recording a full-length album that could live up to the promise of their earlier releases, but "Brutal Legions of the Apocalypse" meets and surpasses any and all expectations that one could have developed in the many years since Martire's last emanation. (Nuclear War Now #219)

MARTIRE - s/t LP
Few recordings ever committed to tape can rival the pure bestiality and violence of Martire's 1991 self titled EP. Hailing from the fiery depths of Australia, Martire deliver bestial death metal of the most extreme and sadistic form. Martire's songs on this EP are driven by evil thrash riffs played with demonic intensity and murderous accuracy, tormenting and depraved vocals, and a relentless drum performance that lays to ruin everything in its path. Furthermore, the pure analog recording of this EP is among the highest quality ever produced within this subgenre of metal. Every instrument is clearly audible and perfectly mixed. In short, there is nothing meek about this record; every riff, vocal snarl, and drum onslaught manifests strength and superiority in the true Australian tradition. Regular version on heavy 180 gram vinyl in a gatefold jacket and includes a poster. (Nuclear War Now #79)

MASACRE - Metal Medello Attack LP
For the past 25 years, Masacre have been among the most championed bands in the Medellin, Colombia Death Metal underground. After releasing several demos in the late 1980's the band focused its sound into the cataclysmic masterpiece known as "Ola De Violencia" 12" EP followed by the "Ola De Violencia" 12" EP. "Metal Medallo Attack" compiles these two early mini albums on one LP. (Nuclear War Now #203)

METALUCIFER - Heavy Metal Bulldozer LPx2
Released in 2009, "Heavy Metal Bulldozer" is the third proper full-length from the Sabbatical Heavy Metal Warriors. Although it comes nearly a decade after their last full-length, it is arguably the most fully realized manifesto of these generals in Neal Tanaka's army. "Heavy Metal Bulldozer" finds Gezol, Elizabigore, and Elizaveat delving further into the legacy of early 1980's heavy metal. The omnipresent intonations of the words Heavy Metal are all you really need to hear in order to grasp the purpose of this album. (Nuclear War Now Records #165)

In addition to the Japanese version, the Die Hard edition of this album also contains the English version and a full-length live DVD. (Nuclear War Now Records #165.5)

MORBOSIDAD - Muerte de Cristo en Golgota CD
Although the Morbosidad catalog is vast, as always, the band's albums feature the finest moments in the discography and the band's fourth full-length, "Muerte de Cristo en Golgota," is no exception. Morbosidad continues with the savage sound achieved on the recent split releases with Pseudogod, Perversor, and Witchrist. For years, Morbosidad has departed somewhat from the near-grindcore approach of the early albums, instead focusing and tightening the sound and this album is a culmination of that trajectory. (Nuclear War Now Records #241 CD)

MORBOSIDAD - Profana La Cruz Del Nazareno CD
On December 25, 2007, the notorious Tomas Stench assembled his horde of maniacal priests of darkness to desecrate the day the bastard Nazarene son was born unto the whore of Bethlehem. Recorded in Mexico with a new line-up, the third Morbosidad album is heavily influenced by Brazilian deathrash masters such as the mighty Sarcofago, Sextrash, and Holocausto, yet is still undeniably Morboso Metal. One of the most sacrilegious and blasphemous records in the NWN! catalog, "Profana La Cruz del Nazareno" achieves a primitive savagery and violence never heard before on any Morbosidad recording. And finally, the only artist whose dark visions are sufficiently unholy to adorn such a long-awaited release, the notorious Chris Moyen was summoned by the Morboso Kult to produce another masterpiece of goatworship for the cover. (Nuclear War Now #101)

MORBOSIDAD - Profana la Cruz del Nazareno picture disc LP

MORBOSIDAD - s/t CD
One of the first records NWN! released was Morbosidad's magnificent blasphemic self-titled opus and the relationship between NWN! and Morbosidad has endured for more than a decade. Morbosidad unleashed an album of savage violence invoking bands such as Blasphemy, Archgoat, and Sarcofago fused with elements of Death/Grind and simultaneously channeling primary influences like Sodom and Bathory. As the Bestial Black/Death style evolved through the past decade and Morbosidad has continued to release music and tour and play gigs in Europe, Mexico, Central America and Canada, the band's influence has grown so that, by now, the self-titled album is indisputably in the canon of this sub-genre of underground metal. An album so significant with the catalog of both the band and the label as well as broadly influential should remain available. (Nuclear War Now Records #7 CD)

MORBOSIDAD - s/t LP (red vinyl die hard version with sticker and patch)
(We only have 35 of the die-hard version, so they will go quick). One of the first records NWN! released was Morbosidad's magnificent blasphemic self-titled opus and the relationship between NWN! and Morbosidad has endured for more than a decade. MORBOSIDAD/PERVERSOR - split LP
This new split marks the return of the mighty Morbosidad and a new set of unholy hymns by Chile's perversor. This LP features new cover art by Chris Moyen and comes with an 8-page zine style booklet and A2 sized-poster. (Nuclear War Now #158)

NECHBEYTH - Blood.Axis.Domination LP
Although Singapore's Nechbeyth has been active for over a decade, the band has just a few releases credited to its name, chief among which is its debut full-length album released in 2011. With a style that evokes the controlled attack of Black Witchery combined with the frenzied intensity of Revenge, Nechbeyth are contemporary masters of the Bestial Black Death Metal sound. (Nuclear War Now Records #238)

NECROBUTCHER - Schizophrenic Noisy Torment CD
Necrobutcher are among the many legendary bands that emerged in the late 1980's and gave birth to a primitive strain of Black Metal that is unique to Brazil. The rhythm section is furious and out of control. Vocals, like distorted howls, saturate the sound when present. Brought together, the effect is alcoholic and unholy. Necrobutcher's music is about sensory destruction and, as such, must be felt to be appreciated. (Nuclear War Now Records #208 CD)

NIHIL DOMINATION - Sado Perverser Goat Insulter LP
Nihil Domination plays South American deathcore in the traditional Cogumelo style. "Sado Perversor Goat Insulter" will transport you back to Minas Gerais circa 1987 in a sweaty "Metal House" clusterfuck venue full of curley haired maniacs. (Nuclear War Now #212)

NOCTURNAL GRAVES/HELL SPIRIT - split CD
The "Grave Spirit Sessions" split is the ideal soundtrack to the impending apocalyptic downfall. Nocturnal Graves' songs on this split seethe with a madness and insane deathlust that drenches the air. Sharing in this bloodbath is Finland's Hell Spirit who cover much the same ground. (Nuclear War Now #140)

NOCTURNAL GRAVES/HELL SPIRIT - split LP
The "Grave Spirit Sessions" LP is the ideal soundtrack to the impending apocalyptic downfall. Nocturnal Graves' songs on this split seethe with a madness and insane deathlust that drenches the air. Finland's Hell Spirit who cover much the same ground, yet their driving attack and the impenetrable evil of their riffs render them an ideal and complementary selection for this split LP. (Nuclear War Now #140)

NUCLEARHAMMER - Serpentine Hermetic Lucifer LPx2
The album opens with a sprawling nine-minute track of atmospheric bestiality-the persistent and repetitive nature of which immediately casts a disorienting, hypnotic shroud upon the listener before culminating in a swirling and surreal display of the variegated hues of cataclysmic Luciferian splendor. Filling the interstitial spaces between the band's hypnotic and opaque deathscapes are otherworldly electronic drone interludes punctuated by convulsive outbursts of Death/Grind violence such that the entire album dilates and contracts with cosmic grandeur. (Nuclear War Now Records #260)

PAGAN RITES/EVIL WRATH - split 10"
NWN! inherited this release already conceived and completed. Nonetheless, it is a great honor to be able to put these recordings on vinyl. If you are a true fan of metal then you need no description of the mighty Pagan Rites. For over 16 years Pagan Rites have been playing some of the most Satanic traditional black metal ever heard on this side of the river Styx. Playing thrashing black metal in the style of the old masters such as Bathory, Venom and others, Pagan Rites are among the most sinister acts to have ever been exported from Sweden. This particular recording, the first ever made by the band, has never before been released. Furthermore, one of the tracks has never been heard in any form on any subsequent Pagan Rites release. Lest one should believe that this recording would be suitable for nothing more than its historical value, one listen demonstrates that this is actually among Pagan rites' finest output. Combined with this ancient dark masterpiece is a demonic onslaught by Canada's Evil Wrath whose incinerating and raw anti-human blitzkrieg serves as an appropriate modern accompaniment to the legendary Pagan Rites. Comes on black vinyl with pro-printed insert. (Nuclear War Now Records #91)

PEK - Preaching Evil LP
Pek plays blasphemous death metal. Incantation fans look no further than Belgium's PEK. (Nuclear War Now #125)

PERVERSOR - Cult of Destruction CD
Forged in the streets of Santiago Chile, Perversor's debut album will slay the false retrothrash nonsense that is infecting a once mighty scene. Drawing influence from obscure South American acts such as Pentagram and Death Yell while also giving a nod to bands like early Demoncy, Perversor offers a deadly combination of true black metal while maintaining a foothold in the sounds of Satanic deaththrash that will evoke the primal instincts of all who have the guts to listen. Includes full color A2 poster and double sided lyrics insert. All jackets printed reverseboard for a matte finish. (Nuclear War Now #113)

PROCLAMATION - Advent of the Black Omen CD
Proclamatin from Spain plays satanic bestial black death metal in the early style of Blasphemy, Beheirt, Impurity, etc. Call it whatever you want, but it is Black Metal in its purest, rawest and most brutal form since Blasphemy's Fallen Angel of Doom.... album. The abrupt and evil riffing style of Blasphemy is ever present on Advent of the Black Omen. This style has since long been recognized by the masses of Black Metal kids as genius and pioneering with its satanic black grinding atomosphere. Tried and copies by many but only few have succeeded in sharing the same evil feeling. Bands such as Beherit, Impurity and now Proclamation are the only few that succeeded in capturing the same level of blackness. Co-releaesd in conjunction with the infamous Ross Bay Cult label. (Nuclear War Now #50 CD)

PROCLAMATION - Execration Of Cruel Bestiality CD
Proclamation have returned for the third time to spill the blood of the angel of doom.... For most, little needs to be said of Proclamation. For the uninitiated, Proclamation arrange and rearrange the structures advanced by the legendary Blasphemy making no attempt to conceal their reverence for the desecrators. Improving with every album, on "Execration of Cruel Bestiality" Proclamation demonstrate once again their ability to concoct seemingly endless permutations of the archetype, each one more potent that the previous. This is perhaps the finest offering Proclamation has yet delivered. (Nuclear War Now #128)

PROCLAMATION - Messiah Of Darkness And Impurity CD
One of the most extreme and morbid acts from the pits of the satanic underground now returns with 10 apocalyptic anthems of Bestial Black Death following the path of Advent Of The Black Omen, Wicca, Down There, and Fallen Angel of Doom.... Recorded entirely using analog equipment, "Messiah of Darkness and Impurity", Proclamation exceeds even the bestiality they attained on their last album. Few bands working within this subgenre have so successfully delivered such aggressive and violent onslaughts and few have remained so faithful to the blueprints established by Blasphemy, Beherit, Impurity, Sarcofago, etc. This is not a "retro" album, however. This release easily stands alongside the classics produced by those masters. Among the seemingly endless tide of Bestial Black Death bands released each month, few can be as favorably compared to the pregenitors of the genre. Proclamation is one of the few that can. Perhaps this is because Proclamation have studied the masters so thoroughly and refuse to be influenced by anything other than the unholiest of bestial black metal. You will hear no heavy metal influence. ..no norsecore...no funthrash...instead you will be thoroughly assaulted by chaotic riffs, morbid intros, searingly violent guitar solos, and blasphemous vocals from beyond that will rape and devour your soul. Released in conspiracy with Ross Bay Cult. (Nuclear War Now Records #88 CD)

PROSANCTUS INFERI - Noctambulous Jaws Within Sempiternal Night CD
Prosanctus Inferi's 2nd full length album births forth 8 new beasts of pulsating and nightmarish black death metal. Blazing a trail of blood that is both new and fresh, yet a harkening howl to the classic moons of old. (Nuclear War Now #244 CD)

PROSANCTUS INFERI - Noctambulous Jaws Within Sempiternal Night LP
Prosanctus Inferi's 2nd full length album births forth 8 new beasts of pulsating and nightmarish black death metal. Blazing a trail of blood that is both new and fresh, yet a harkening howl to the classic moons of old. (Nuclear War Now #244)

PROSANCTUS INFERI - Noctambulous Jaws Within Sempiternal Night LP (Die Hard Version)
This is the die hard version on white vinyl with 36"x36" cloth tapestry of the front cover. Prosanctus Inferi's 2nd full length album births forth 8 new beasts of pulsating and nightmarish black death metal. Blazing a trail of blood that is both new and fresh, yet a harkening howl to the classic moons of old. (Nuclear War Now Records #244)

PROSANCTUS INFERI - Red Streams of Flesh CD
Prosanctus Inferi represent the median point between Morbid Angel / Necrovore and Profanatica / Demoncy, augmented by warped riffs and unpredictable song structures. The sound here is more immediate and extreme than their debut LP from last year, but still retains the characteristic idiosyncratic musical syntax that characterizes Prosanctus Inferi's approach. (Nuclear War Now Records #190 CD)

PSEUDOSTRATIFIED EPITHELIUM - Into the Flames LP
South American black/death metal with heavy dose of Sarcofago, Sextrash and Expulser. Limited to 250 copies on black vinyl. (Nuclear War Now #112)

RENEGADE - Total Armageddon LP
Just released on Iron Bonehead Productions (Licensed from Coffin Slave and Renegade). Official reissue of the obscure Australian black/thrash bands's one and only album plus their even more obscure demo from 1984! Total cult metal that was hidden in the tombs of only the most dedicated vinyl fanatics is now readily available again! A must for all evil thrash maniacs and black metal historians. Officially distributed by Nuclear War Now! Prod. for the Americas. Limited edition of 500 copies all on black vinyl. (War Now/Iron Bonehead #118)

RESUSCITATOR - Initiation CD
Old Los Angeles area black/death/doom from 1993. The first press CD version of this was originally released by the infamous Wild Rags Records. This is for fans of old death metal and early 90's Greek black metal like Varathron and Necromantia. (Nuclear War Now #74 CD)

RESUSCITATOR - Iniciation LP
Not to be confused with the current line up which bears little resemblance to the band appearing on this album, "Iniciation" contains black/death/doom from 1993 the CD version of which was originally released by the infamous Wild Rags Records. This is for fans of old death metal such as early Incantation and early 90's Greek black metal like Varathron and Necromantia. The 180 gram heavy vinyl comes housed in quality gatefold jacket and includes an A2 poster. (Nuclear War Now #74)

REVENGE - Attack.Blood.Revenge" CD
With the prominence that Revenge has since earned, it seems fitting to now reissue this classic debut MLP. To augment the material on "Attack.Blood.Revenge," this new CD edition contains four additional bonus tracks including the "Superion.Command.Destroy" EP, Revenge's track from the split 7" with Arkhon Infaustus, and the band's cover of Von's "Lamb" that it recorded for inclusion on the 2009 NWN! Fest compilation. (Nuclear War Now Records #300)

REVENGE - Attack.Blood.Revenge LP
While Revenge's style and line up have changed and evolved since the release of this debut MLP, all of the elements that characterized the band at its inception remain intact even today. With the prominence that Revenge has since earned, it seems fitting to now reissue this classic debut MLP. To augment the material on "Attack.Blood.Revenge," this new LP edition contains four additional bonus tracks including the "Superion.Command.Destroy" EP, Revenge's track from the split 7" with Arkhon Infaustus, and the band's cover of Von's "Lamb" that it recorded for inclusion on the 2009 NWN! Fest compilation. (Nuclear War Now Records #300)

REVENGE - Scum.Collapse.Eradication CD
Their new album, "Scum.Collapse.Eradication" continues in this vein, with further development in the way the songs are presented augmenting the extremity of the violent chaotic architecture that Revenge created with their previous output. All unnecessary elements have been stripped and discarded leaving only the most effective weapons in the Revenge arsenal . (Nuclear War Now #200)

REVENGE - Scum.Collapse.Eradication LP (die hard version)
Die hard version comes with picture disc, patch, flag, and sticker. Their new album, "Scum.Collapse.Eradication" continues in the same path, with further development in the way the songs are presented augmenting the extremity of the violent chaotic architecture that Revenge created with their previous output. All unnecessary elements have been stripped and discarded leaving only the most effective weapons in the Revenge arsenal with which to continue down the Satanist path of undying intolerance for the swine known as mankind. (Nuclear War Now Records #200 DH)

RITUAL CHAMBER - The Pits of Tentacled Screams demo tape cassette
Ritual Chamber is the most recent project of the prolific Dario J. Derna (aka Numinas) who is most well known for his work with Krohm and Infester. Amid the glut of Death Metal releases over the past decade, Ritual Chamber stands out in its ability to conjure a melancholic aura while retaining the intensity and focused precision of classic Death Metal. (Nuclear War Now #259 TP)

ROOT - The Revelation LPx2
Root's "The Revelation" is unquestionably one of the most mysterious releases in this enigmatic band's catalog. When Root began recording their second album they chose to present the lyrics in English in order to spread their message of darkness even further. At the same time, the idea was presented to also re-record the "Zjeveni" album with English vocals. (Nuclear War Now #172)

ROTTING CHRIST - 7"x3 Boxset
This collection of Rotting Christ material represents the genesis of the archetypal Greek Black Metal sound. Recorded after Rotting Christ's debut MLP "Passage to Arcturo," these recordings detail the accretion of elements that would ultimately collide in a magnificent manner on the band's masterpiece "Thy Mighty Contract." (Nuclear War Now Records #230)

ROTTING CHRIST - Apokathilosis LP
This collection of Rotting Christ material represents the genesis of the archetypal Greek Black Metal sound. To honor Rotting Christ's legacy, NWN! presents this LP collection featuring reissues of the "Ade's Winds" demo and the "Dawn of the Iconoclast" and "Apokathilosis" EPs. Limited pressing of 400 on black vinyl. (Nuclear War Now Records #230)

SABBAT - LiveEvil DVDx2 set plus Gezol notebook reproduction
In conjunction with the release of the massive "Sabbatical Earlyearslaught" box set, NWN! is also making separately available the two volume "livEvil" DVD set. Selected by Gezol from his massive library, this footage spans from 1986 to 1989 and was all recorded in Japan. The "livEvil" DVDs feature all of the existing video footage of Sabbat from the 1980s. In the early days of Sabbat, Gezol maintained a notebook in which he recorded lyrics and songwriting notation as well as commentary about all of Sabbat's gigs and recording sessions from that era. In preparation for "Sabbatical Earlyearslaught," Gezol sent his notebook to NWN! for use in organizing the box set materials. To see in one place such a wealth of first-hand historical information about this seminal band was so impressive that YK Insulter decided to print page-by-page replicas of the 52 page notebook. (Nuclear War Now #222)

SACRIFICIO - s/t LP
Aftershocks of the earliest recordings of Bathory, Sodom, and Hellhammer can be felt pulsing through the songs on this recording. Even more specifically, Sacrificio's raw sound and reckless performance is a nod to the seminal South American acts that created and cultivated the bestial style as well as the defiant minimalism of early Eastern European bands. This focused and succinct mLP is a welcome and skillfully written return to tradition and portends the issuance of ever more malefic recordings from Sacrificio. (Nuclear War Now Records #28)

SACRIPHYX - Lone Pine 7"
Originally released as a limited demo CDR only available directly from the band, these debut recordings from Australia's Sacriphyx were too exceptional to leave in so limited a form. Thus, NWN! is proud to officially release these tracks as a proper vinyl version for wide dissemination and as a precursor to additional upcoming Sacriphyx releases on NWN! that will soon be unveiled. Sacriphyx play melodic and dark black metal predominantly building upon the classic Greek sound established on such seminal albums as "His Majesty at the Swamp" and "Thy Mighty Contract." These songs are at once epic and triumphant, melancholy and melodic epitaphs to the fallen. Lyrically poignant, the songs articulate the struggle, despair, and valiance of the battle of Lone Pine with an eloquence seldom seen in modern metal. In a scene often overly obsessed with tongue-in-cheek satanic imagery, Sacriphyx's realistic yet unpretentious demeanor provides much needed elements of realism and emotive depth within the context of the extreme metal underground. Black vinyl with fold-over cover. (Nuclear War Now Records #95)

SACRIPHYX - Sacriphyx CD
In anticipation of the release of Sacriphyx's debut LP, "The Western Front," NWN! has compiled and presented for the first time on CD, the band's demo and split release recordings. Their well-established sonic and conceptual identity is unique among active bands and this release will hopefully afford those who have neglected one of the finest bands in the contemporary scene the opportunity to investigate their early material. (Nuclear War Now Records #229 CD)

SACRIPHYX - The Western Front LP
Sacriphyx are one of those few bands for which the debut LP represents both a continuation of the trajectory laid out in the band's previous recordings and also a substantial step forward. Sacriphyx call upon the legacy of Greek Black Metal, but recast the occult Hellenic sound in the service of the band's melancholy and militaristic narrative quality. Though fans were forced to wait for years for this anticipated debut, few, if any, will find anything remotely disappointing in it. (Nuclear Now Records #235)

SACRIPHYX/RESUSCITATOR - split LP
The Resuscitator tracks presented here were recorded in 1994, but were never released. Worshippers of the band's "Iniciation" LP will find a continuation of the sound that was constructed on that release. Like Resuscitator, Australia's Sacriphyx also envelop their sound in one that is largely attributable to traditional Greek influence. These two bands were combined on this split release to illustrate the specific nexus in their respective styles. The resulting music covers a broad spectrum both stylistically and thematically, but the bands' convergence is perfectly sufficient to also permit a continuous listening experience. (Nuclear War Now #164)

SACRIPHYX/STARGAZER - split 7"
This release illustrates the uniqueness and the simultaneous stylistic convergence of the two bands involved. While Sacriphyx continue to refine a sound that is clearly evocative of early Greek black metal such as Varathron and Rotting Christ, StarGazer elaborate further upon their technical death metal that truly resembles no other band. (Nuclear War Now #124)

SATAN'S SCOURGE - The Satan's Scourge LP
Frenzied South American bestial black metal with machine like drum attack ala Sarcofago "crust" and vocals reminiscent of 1986 era Brazilian deathcore. This LP compiles their 2008 unreleased EP and an old 7" on Legion of Death. (Nuclear War Now Records #71)

SECT PIG - Slave Destroyed CD
Sect Pig plays an Obscure form of black metal that combines repetitive minimalist drum beats, hypnotic layered unnatural sounding guitar riffs, nauseous low end bass and schizophrenic vocals to create an uncomfortable and at times experimentally abrasive sound. Each of the six tracks on the Slave Destroyed ep utilize intros and outros praising the demented truths of the human mind. An introspective homage to the evils that lurk within all who infest the cesspool known as humanity. Bring forth the truth unleash the demon and escape the chains. (Nuclear War Now Records #247 CD)

SECT PIG - Slave Destroyed LP
"Slave Destroyed" is the debut LP released by the obscure and previously unheard of Sect Pig. Steeped in hallucinatory dissonance and unsettling imagery, the backbone of Sect Pig's sound is reminiscent of Von in its tendency toward hypnotic repetition and sinister chord progressions. The same 6 songs are repeated on both sides of the LP. (Nuclear War Now #247)

SET - Upheaval of Unholy Darkness CD
Like Demoncy, a band with which Davis has been affiliated, Set creates an oppressive atmosphere while still maintaining a delivery that is incisive and violent-a balance rarely achieved as expertly as it is on "Upheaval of Unholy Darkness." The accretion of Davis' myriad influences into a stylized yet traditional sound is impressive and culminates, here, in Set's extraordinary debut LP. (Nuclear War Now Records #252 CD)

SIXX - Sister Devil CD
Shortly after the release of Von's "Satanic Blood" demo, the members of Von shifted their focus to another project that would come to be known as Sixx. The obscure "Sister Devil" demo, the only recording produced under the Sixx moniker, represents a distinctly different approach to music, but retains, nonetheless, many of the same elements that characterize the style of Von. Sixx instead play a style of music most closely resembling the genre known as death-rock. Remastered by James Plotkin and accompanied by new artwork created by Jake K., "Sister Devil" at last will receive the presentation and distribution it rightfully deserves. (Nuclear War Now #136)

SIXX - Sister Devil Die Hard Version LPx2
Shortly after the release of Von's "Satanic Blood" demo, the members of Von shifted their focus to another project that would come to be known as Sixx. Sixx play a style of music most closely resembling the genre known as death-rock. And while traces of Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Samhain, and Joy Division can be heard in Sixx's music, "Sister Devil" conveys a decidedly more satanic approach than any of the aforementioned bands' work. The limited Die Hard 2 x 12" version comes housed in textured case-wrapped jacket (spot UV Gloss + silver foil stamp) and includes an A2 poster, 12_ x 12_ insert, Replica of Goat's "Ugly Self" poetry zine from 1993, Vinyl sticker, and an Embroidered patch. (Nuclear War Now #136.5)

SOOTHSAYER - To Be a Real Terrorist LP
Following NWN!'s recent vinyl reissues of Voor and Damnation comes the third installment in the Quebec Metal Series with the vinyl version of Soothsayer's 1986 "To Be a Real Terrorist" demo. Soothsayer arrived at a time when the Canadian thrash scene was flourishing with bands like Slaughter, Damnation, and Yog Sothots unleashing an incomparable breed of sonic savagery. (Nuclear Now Records #176)

TERRORAMA - Horrid Efface CD
The CD version of Terrorama's debut album is finally out. Terrorama plays old school deathrash metal in the style of Merciless, Vulcano, Holy Terror, and Protector. The album includes a cover of a Holy Terror song. (Nuclear War Now #18)

TERRORAMA - Omnipotence CD
Second album from TERRORAMA continues in the "old & original" style that started with the 2004 debut, Horrid Efface. On "Omnipotence," influences are mostly drawn from the old South American Thrash movement of the 80s with bands like Holocausto, Vulcano and the like. The song-writing is based around the spirit of the old days, without coming close to being one of all those retro/tribute bands polluting the scene with their crappy 3rd class Kreator/Slayer/Metallica/Vio-lence/Exodus-riffing nowadays. (Nuclear War Now #102 CD)

TERRORAMA - Omnipotence LP
Swedish black thrashers return with a second offering of darkness. Comes with reverseboard printed jacket, A2 poster, 12" x 12" double sided lyrics insert and 160 gram vinyl. TERRORAMA was officially formed in 2001, with the aim to create music under the moniker "old & original". Influences are mostly drawn from the old South American thrash movement of the '80s with bands like for instance Holocausto (Brazil), Graf Spee (Uruguay), Reencarnacion (Colombia), and Vulcano (Brazil). (Nuclear War Now #102)

TERRORAMA/ADORIOR - split LP
While Terrorama has been affiliated with NWN! for many years now, this split LP release pairs them with the highly regarded Adorior; a pairing which suits both bands particularly well. Both Adorior and Terrorama, arguably equally underrated, deliver genre-defying metal that cuts across the boundaries of black, death, and thrash. The material on this split, some of the best the bands have recorded to date, breaks that silence with a deafening and bestial roar. (Nuclear War Now #166)

Veterans and pioneers of the Greek Black Metal scene, the current line up consists of members previously or currently involved in such seminal projects as Necromantia, Rotting Christ, Mortify, Nergal, and many others. On this new album, entitled "The Regal Pulse of Lucifer," Thou Art Lord resurrect the rich atmosphere and occult ideology for which the band has been heralded through the years. TUDOR - Ultra Black Metal CDx2
Double CD version of the out of print release from 2004. Includes all tracks from the die hard version DLP+7". Czech Black Metal from the early 90's in the style of Master's Hammer, Root, and Torr. (Nuclear War Now #27)

UNHOLY CRUCIFIX - Ordo Servorum Satanae CD
Throughout the years, the band has released numerous demos and split releases leaving behind a daunting catalog, but has not, until now, recorded a proper "album" of material. Entitled "Ordo Servorum Satanae," this album is cognizably different from most of the band's previous work, but retains the same blasphemous presence. The result is something far more refined than that represented on the earliest Unholy Crucifix recordings. (Nuclear War Now Records #221 CD)

UNHOLY CRUCIFIX - Ordo Servorum Satanae LP
Throughout the years, the band has released numerous demos and split releases leaving behind a daunting catalog BLACK DEATH METAL, but has not, until now, recorded a proper "album" of material. Entitled "Ordo Servorum Satanae," this album is cognizably different from most of the band's previous work, but retains the same blasphemous presence. After being in contact with Unholy Crucifix since the earliest days of the project, NWN! is honored to present the band's most potent work to date in the form of the debut LP, "Ordo Servorum Satanae." (Nuclear War Now Records #221)

VANHELGD - Church of Death LP/CD
On Church of Death Vanhelgd develops their aggressive aspects as well as a more ominous manifestation with a felling of doom. The album haunts the cemetery as well as submerging the listener into the black abyss. There are some rather clear differences between "Church of Death" and "Cult of Lazarus" but also a lot of similarities. Both albums have a kind of shattered personality in common, but "Church of death" has a more focused and elaborated arrangement and mood within each song. (Nuclear War Now #175)

VILLAINS - Drenched in the Poisons LP
From the bowels of New York, Villains spews forth one of the most solid and sinister albums of the year, Drenched in the Poisons. In the style of traditional 80's black metal, Villains' debut album combs the depths of alcoholic sin and debauchery. Simple but highly effective song construction combined with masterfully written dark, thrashy riffs and harsh vocals will ensure that this album is regarded as one of the best new releases of the year. Regular version on heavy 180 gram black vinyl. Comes in gatefold jacket and includes poster. (Nuclear War Now #68)

VILLAINS - Lifecode of Decadence LP/CD
This second album strikes with overt rudeness and bizarre new terrritories for Villains. Less thrash and more trash. A good mixture of many styles of old and new metal styles. Crawl to the cave indeed! (Nuclear War Now #116)

VILLAINS - Never Abandon the Slut Train CD
Villains' music dwells in that span of hours devoid of memory during which ambition manifests itself in the handing out of unrestrained chin-checks and the indiscriminate hunt for debauchery until the haze of morning reveals the broken remnants of the night's revelry. (Nuclear War Now Records #246)

VILLAINS - Never Abandon the Slut Train LP
Villains' music dwells in that span of hours devoid of memory during which ambition manifests itself in the handing out of unrestrained chin-checks and the indiscriminate hunt for debauchery until the haze of morning reveals the broken remnants of the night's revelry. First pressing of 250 copies on black vinyl. All copies with patch and sticker. (Nuclear War Now Records #246)

VILLAINS - Road to Ruin CD
"Road to Ruin" presents a new collection of eight hymns to the thieves, sluts, junkies, and degenerates that inhabit that realm and all the rituals of depravity in which they indulge. Here, the band mostly eschews some of the more standard punk elements present on their last album, although the gritty belligerence of the tracks still reveals the same influences. What remains is the distilled and potent complex blackened thrash for which Villains have long been revered. (Nuclear War Now Records #173 CD)

VILLAINS - Road to Ruin LP
The territory explored by this New York band is arguably as dark or darker than most of the pathetic Satanic and occult acts that populate the vast majority of the extreme metal underground. "Road to Ruin" is not merely a soundtrack to the spectacle, it impels one to take part in the frenzy to churn for oneself the wheel of wretched decrepitude. There is no escape once you are trapped within. Witness and indulge. Observe it all through the blurry haze of alcoholic and narcotic stupor until the cacophony of drunkeness eventually abates and the light of day reveals the mess that's left behind; dopamine depletion and the onset of delirium tremens as the devilish thirst rises from the sickened guts into the back of the throat and the descent begins again. (Nuclear War Now Records #173)

VILLIANS/FINGERNAILS - split 7"
For anyone who is unfamiliar with the obscure but legendary Italian band, Fingernails, this 7" should be a welcome introduction. Although formed in 1981, Fingernails released only one LP in 1988 (as well as a handful of demos and comp. tracks). This self-titled LP contained nothing but sleazy and sick speed metal with heavy Motorhead influence and has been regarded as an overlooked classic ever since. This new 7" features Fingernails and NY blackened thrash kings, Villains, each covering a track by the other. Villains regurgitates a modern version of the track "Crazy for Blow Jobs" that originally appeared on Fingernails' self-titled LP while Fingernails adds their Italian sickness to the Villains track "Getting Cheap" that appeared on their 2005 7". The result is deadly and demonstrates the versatility of each of the bands and the mutual respect between them. (Nuclear War Now #108)

VOIDS OF VOMIT - Veritas Vltima Vitae CD
Having clawed their way out of the catacombs of the Italian scene, Voids of Vomit play traditional Death Metal that touches the same nerves as classic bands from the early 1990's.While the band's influences are readily apparent - Asphyx, Grave, Incantation, Miasma, etc. - the manner in which these influences merge within Voids of Vomit's work is uniquely devastating. Through dense, tumultuous song structures they conjure the odor, the imagery, the intense feel of pure morbidity. (Nuclear War Now/Carrion #9)

VON - Satanic Blood Ritual DVD
This DVD collects the only video footage of VON known to exist. The two shows from 1991 presented here both took place in the Bay Area. In addition to the video footage, the DVD comes with an 8 page booklet and a DVD slideshow containing previously unreleased band photos. This DVD is essential for understanding VON. (Nuclear War Now #161 DVD)

VON GOAT - Septic Illumination CD/LP
After more than a decade away from the scene, Goat has returned. Goat was the true mastermind behind the lyrical, musical, and visual content of the original Von. When Von was first active, Goat constructed the entire sonic and symbolic world that was Von. Now, Goat has summoned the same malefic energies that impelled him then for his new project called Von Goat. (Nuclear War Now #157)

WARHATE/DOMINI INFERI - split LP (gatefold)
Warhate plays heathen war metal the way it was meant to be. Short bursts of angst and hatred to celebrate the wolf in man. Their side of the LP was originally released as a split 7" with Nasum back in 1998. Domini Inferi is pre-Conqueror bestial black death metal project from R. Forster. Their side comes from a promo tape from 1994. Presented in gatefold jacket with printed innersleeve and pressed on 180 gram heavy vinyl. Clocking in at 11 minutes total and cut at 45 RPM for superior audio fidelity. (Nuclear War Now Records #26)

WINTERBLUT - Lichtenstandard LP
Refusing to conform to any ordinary standard approach to Black Metal, the Winterblut catalog is as varied as it is vast. This new LP consists of a recording of album length material recorded in 1998-99 that was only previously released in an edition of 11 CD-Rs and given out by L'Hiver himself to those worthy of hearing the material. With this LP, "Leichenstandard" will finally have a formal release, however, because it is limited to just 250 copies, it may soon find itself sinking back once more into obscurity. (Nuckear War Now #189)

WINTERBLUT - Opus 1, Der 6. Danach: Leidenswege LP
Originally released in 1999 under the banner of DTB Records, this album was the first proper full-length Winterblut recording and began the unfolding of what would become one of the most unique catalogs in Black Metal. (Nuclear War Now #195)

WINTERBLUT - Opus 2 & 3, Der 6. Danach: Geistermusik: Orgelmusik LP

"Der 6. Danach" offers a glimpse of the mission that L'hiver would carry out over the next 13 years after the release of this album and reveals the vast spectrum of Winterblut's sound. (Nuclear War Now #196)

WINTERBLUT - Von Den Pflichten LPx2 (gatefold)
With "Von den Pflichten Schones Zu Vernichten," the fifth Winterblut full-length, L'Hiver (the only official member of the band) once again eschews the constraints of any rigid interpretation of black metal. The style that emerges does not specifically replicate any of Winterblut's predecessors, but instead marks offshoots of a new branch in the evolutionary history of black metal, arguably the same branch occupied by bands such as France's Darvulia and Germany's Pest among others. (Nuclear War Now Records #168)

WRATHPRAYER - The Sun of Moloch: The Sublimation... LP
Wrathprayer are among those bands for which their work is an extension of a broader philosophical and metaphysical aesthetic. "The Sun of Moloch: The Sublimation of Sulphur's Essence Which Spawns Death and Life" is the full title of the band's debut LP and conveys the atmospheric density surrounding the work within. Hallucinatory revelation as the blade caresses flesh in ritualistic embrace. The regal Sun of Moloch burns the blood-drenched soil. (Nuclear War Now #206)

YOG SOTHOTS - Black Power Metal LP
NWN! Continues to plumb the depths of the 1980's Quebecois Speed Metal scene with the long awaited reissue of Yog Sothots' demo recording from 1987. This release commits to vinyl this incredible LP length demo - the only recorded output of this seminal, yet often overlooked, pillar of the Quebecois scene. This much needed reissue follows on the heels of recent reissues of classic material by Voor, Damnation, and Soothsayer and provides greater insight into the fertile Quebecois scene of that era.
